When I go golfing, I dont know what club that I can use when I am on a course where one of the holes has a 3 par. What club should I buy to use to drive off the tee with?

It all depends on how far the hole is, how far you hit the ball, you know if you are big and strong or what not. I’m kind of bigger so say on a 150 yd par 3 I would probably use a 7 iron.

The distance of the hole determines what club you use. I hit my 6 iron 180 yds on average. On most par 3′s i hit an iron. Some par 3′s that are over 200 yds i will take a nice easy swing with my 5 wood. I wouldnt buy a club specificly to use on par 3′s because a par 3 can verry in distance from 120 yds to over 200 yds.

Use any of your clubs to hit on a par 3. The most important thing is to know the distances that you hit each club. On the tee i would use a driver most of the time.

Aaaaah Par 3s….a favorite…
For me, this is not just get it on the green…but rather, lay up, chip & putt for the most workout for your money.

the fist thing i would recommend is that you know how far you usually hit each of you clubs. to do this, go to the driving range and hit a couple of buckets starting with your pw slowly moving you way up to you driver and the back down. do that a couple of times and if need be take notes on you distance. then you will be able to make the decision on your own.
