9 iron, sand wedge, and putter. You dont really need a 7, unless there are a coulpe of long holes

Putter – on the green
Wedge – when you’re near the green
3, 5, and 7 irons – tee shots & longer 2nd shots (as a beginner you’ll probably have quite a few of those), chip w/ the 7 iron.
Most par 3 courses have a couple 170+ yd holes, that’s only time you should use the 3 iron.
Eventually if you stick w/ golf & develop a good swing you’ll actually use more clubs. The idea is to have the same swing regardless of the distance (within reason), just change clubs.

you need irons..drivers usually arent needed, make sure you have a 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, pitching wedge, (sand wedge if you want), and a putter, most of the time you use a 6 or 7 or higher club when teeing off, middle of the hole use a 8 or 9, then if your not on the green by then use a wedge to get it to the hole and putt it in..thats about all i can think of

If you’re a beginner you may want to use the three iron , seven, the wedge and the putter. Have fun its a great game if you stay with it.

If its a pitch and putt par three then all you shou need is pitching or sand wedge and a putter. if it is an executive par 3 course with some holes up to 220 yards then you may need your entire bag depending on how far you hit your clubs.

hi hacker welcome to the wonderful world of golf..depending on your ability,I would recommend a wedge 9 8 7 6 irons and a putter..some par 3s have holes over 200 yds. if that is the case bring along a 3 wood or 2 or 3 iron.as u play more and PRACTICE u will be able to judge the correct club..good luck and good golfing///

Where I live, there is a par 3 with a 160 yarder stuck in amongst the 90 and 100 yard holes. So I carry 8,9, pitching wedge, sand wedge, putter and 22 degree utility.
So the answer is look at the longest hole and plan accordingly. You may have a gap in the set but one long club may get you on the green on that annoying long hole.

depends on how long the holes are

well first off i dont recommend par 3 courses because i dont think they are all that great…the most you’ll prob need is a 6 or 7 iron but usually wedge”s” because some hole are like 70 yards so wedges, 8 and 9

most par three golf courses are about the same…. maybe 30 yards longest being 82.. so there you go.. I would say you should use the 7 iron right close to the green when you dint have to get any height. Otherwise use the other two.. Good luck.. Master a par three and I guarantee you will be a good big golf course player…. Good luck.. Grant from Pennsylvania
