How long should I wait to golf after getting a tattoo?

I got a tattoo on the back of my arm, tricep area. It’s healed very nicely and quick. I got it Saturday. Should I wait longer to go golfing?

put some lotion on it beforehand and keep applying lotion during your game to keep it from stretching too much. also, if it’s going to be exposed to sun, use a high spf (like 45) sunblock before and during playing since tattoos are really sensitive to sunlight. other than that, i don’t really see any reason why not to play.

You should be fine. I was just told not to swim/have a bath (pretty much don’t submerge it in water for a long time) or to do anything that could rub/smudge it. I wouldn’t think golfing should hurt it.

You will be fine. My husband has full sleeves and after each one he’s got he still gets up and does PT the next morning. The only recommendation is to wear a light long sleeved shirt so you don’t get sun burnt there.
