This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who is a HUGE Longhorns fan. The “holiday shipping guide” indicated that if ordered by Dec 15, it would be delivered by Dec 24. I ordered it the morning of Dec 15 and the first (and only) attempt to deliver it was Dec 26. Lucky for me, no one was home. I went to the post office on Monday (Dec 29) and picked it up. I opened the box on Tuesday to show a friend of mine. Low and behold, TEXAS was spelled wrong. How does that happen??!?!?!? Have they heard of quality assurance prior to packing and shipping?? I called the distributor that day and was told that the manufacturer was closed for the holiday but a new one would be shipped on Monday (Jan 5). When I called on Wednesday, no one could help me. There was no tracking # on my order, but it was “ready to ship” and I should give it another day. They’d email me with the shipping information. The following Monday, Jan 12, there was STILL no tracking # and I was told that someone would get back to me (by email). The next day I got an email from the distributor that the manufacturer was closed the previous week for inventory and that the golf bag should be shipped by the end of the week (by Jan 16). On Jan 15, I called around elsewhere looking for the same bag and was given a number of a contact person at Team Effort (the manufacturer) and I called and left her a message. She didn’t call me back that day or Friday. I went out of town for the weekend and when I arrived home late last night, FINALLY, the golf bag was sitting at my front door. This time it’s right. It’s spelled right. The colors are right. But for something that should have been checked for quality prior to shipment and that was supposed to be delivered by Dec 24, I’m extremely disappointed that it took over 2 weeks to make this right. Oh, they took off the $5.95 s&h charge. Thanks for that. I won’t order anything from this distributor again.
