I am looking to spen aroun 100 to 200 dollers on new golf clubs. I am just starting to play golf and I would like a nice complete set. I saw these Acuity Voltage complete set on www.dicksportinggoods.com and are those clubs good or not. They were only 150 but IDK if thats a good deal or not. Thanks and please be honest.

the ones you saw are just fine – DON’T spend a ton of money until you see how you feel about the game

well, to tell you the truth, your not gonna get anything good for 100-200 dollars. maybe a driver and some woods but if quality is what your looking for, raise your budget and get an iron set, woods, a putter and a driver all separate but dont spend over 400 dollars.
irons:

dont spend more than 600

or if you go to any golf store on your own, try to get what are called super game improvement irons and any other drivers fairway metals wedges or putters that are out there.

Just started myself. I went to American Golf and got a starter box set of Wilson Clubs inc. Bag as I didn’t know anything about golfing equipment. But, bought my girlfiriend a set of clubs from a brand I’d also never heard of from Amazon for half the cost which are just as good.
So, from my experience, just get yourself a cheap set from anywhere you trust, and use the saved money to get a few lessons at the local range like me. At the start its more about getting your swing right.
Once you get in to it, start looking at getting second hand clubs, thats what I’ve done.
Hope this helps.
