What is the closes golfing range in San Francisco, CA?

I’m not sure, but did they close down Mission Bay Golf Range? Is the one on Sneath Lane the next closest. It sucks that they closed down the only one in the city.

Hiya 11,
As far as I know the closest one to the City that is open to the public is inside the Cypress Golf Course. Cypress is by all the cemeteries in Colma just outside the San Francisco next to the Serramonte Shopping Center: http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=AkL2EqniDWhj8R_JSGsHVh.HNcIF?id=21308629&state=CA&city=San+Francisco&stx=golf+driving+ranges&csz=San+Francisco%2C+CA&fr=yfp-t-501&ed=itlDna131Dxn85.5aPra4au2nB4Im8avsrhBlHTEs9XKcFRDUI1wurA-&lcscb=TgAc0OR5uin
The next closest is the San Bruno Golf Center and YES it is located in San Bruno about 10 miles from the City: http://www.sanbrunogolf.com/
Not far south you can practice at the Crystal Springs golf Couse in Burlingame: http://www.playcrystalsprings.com/page/327-16007.htm
Just down the road is a the Burlingame Golf Center which has a driving range only facility, open nights: http://burlingamegolfcenter.com/
In Foster City you can practice at the Mariners Point Golf Center about 25 miles from the City: http://www.marinerspoint.com/
I hope this helps you out to get over the Mission Bay closure last year. Colma and San Bruno are doable and only 10 to 20 minutes away depending.
GOOD LUCK!

Try the Presidio golf course in the Marina area (300 Finley Drive). great deals especially after 3pm weekdays. Its open to the public 7/365/year. Just dont eat at the restaurant the place is awful
