where can i get information on starting my own driving range and mini golf?

i am interested in starting a golfing range and mini golf in my backyard. its a pretty big yard and i wanted some information. some examples of some mini golf courses, how to build them what i need and all that info.

First, do you mean a commercial operation, open to the public for a fee? If so, your first step will be to check the local zoning ordinances to ensure that such a venture is allowed at your residence. Most municipalities/neighborhood associations frown on large-scale businesses operating in residential settings. Then once you’ve cleared that hurdle you can begin to secure financing, labor, and building plans and permits.
If you’re just looking to amuse yourself and friends without profit, you’ll have a much easier time of it. You should check online golf forums like GolfRewind.com and GolfWRX.com to get tips on home driving range construction. For the mini golf part, construction will depend in a large part on what exactly you want out of it. Large changes in elevation, lots of water, etc., will obviously add more to the cost. I suggest you start brainstorming what you would want to have in your course, then take a critical look at costs and rule out those elements that are deemed too fantastic for your budget.
